Guillermina Birenbaum

  • Born 23/11/2000 in Montevideo, Uruguay. Rider of the Uruguayan dressage team and currently training under Beatriz Ferrer Salat in Barcelona, Spain.

Guillermina has been riding since she was five years old and her philosophy consists of ensuring the well-being and enjoyment of the horse in high sporting performance. She is also passionate about improving our sport in South America and being a role model for any young rider to work hard and fight for their dreams.

In addition to competing, Guillermina shares her experience through both in-person and online riding lessons, and works on training horses for different clients, always paying close attention to the particularities of each horse-rider pair.

She also promotes an educational program in collaboration with schools, introducing young people to the equestrian.

  • Maestro VDH

8 y/o (born 2017) KWPN gelding out of Glock´s Toto Jr. and Tolando. He moved to Spain at 3 years old and trained under Juan Manuel Muñoz (former Spanish team rider) until he was 7, which was when I acquired him. He had only competed a couple of times so came with very little experience, but he trusted me all the way in every show we´ve done since. He is the sweetest horse, always looking for connection with humans. Because of his character he is adored and spoiled by everyone in Villa Equus, with his favorite food being banana treats and any fruit available. His stable name is “Toto” which he takes on after his father and grandfather. He is a small horse with a powerful engine in the arena, and with his ease for the high-level movements, he´ll do anything to please his rider.
