Araminta

Churchill

Araminta started riding from a very early age and whilst most of her family have some experience with horses, Araminta was keen to pursue the more Eventing side of equestrian sport

She originally started with Heythrop Pony Club giving her a strong foundation, where she had many different ponies toride; some being trickier than others, making her eager to form partnerships with horses and learn how to work with their different personalities.

In 2020, Araminta β€˜met’ Lily, although this was not at all planned, as she was going to a yard to try a different pony which was for sale. She knew from the second Araminta and her father saw her that she would be something very special. She was young and had little schooling knowledge so it was from there that they grew through the years together.

Lily was six when she was purchased; the first few years were spent building their partnership and competing unaffiliated for fun, although it soon became clear that thy both wanted to step up and be more competitive. Araminta and Lily did their first BE90 event in 2022 and from then her competitive side and love for the sport just kept rising.
